Aaron Wan-Bissaka: England lose Manchester United defender through injury

Manchester United right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka has pulled out of the England squad.
Wan-Bissaka, who’d been called up to England’s senior side for the first time, will miss the European Qualifiers from Bulgaria and Kosovo.
Gareth Southgate, the England manager, has no plans to call up a replacement with Liverpool’s Trent Alexander-Arnold and Atletico Madrid’s Kieran Trippier from the today 24-man squad.
It comes as a setback for the 21-year-old who had been looking to get his first taste of senior football.
Southgate made out the Kyle Walker of Manchester City, first-choice right-back, to give Alexander-Arnold and Wan-Bissaka an chance to get.
Meanwhile, Trippier, that had been left out of England’s Nations League squad, was brought back into the fold following his transfer to Atletico Madrid.
“We’re really looking at him (Wan-Bissaka) and Trent (Alexander-Arnold) – that is why, on this occasion, Kyle Walker’s not together we think it’s an opportunity to have a look at 2 young players,” said Southgate.
“We talked about the amount of games we’ve got ahead of next summerwe think we need to see them fast and we wanted to reintegrate Kieran Trippier into the team so that he understands he’s still on our radar.
“He’s had a massive move to Atletico Madrid, frankly, that moves under the radar here – and has begun the season very well. It is an area of the pitch.
“Kyle Walker has begun the season quite well so I have clarified the rationale . They all have very different strengths and we are excited about helping a few of these grow.”
