Bristol Rovers 3-3 Accrington: Stanley comeback earns draw

Accrington Stanley and 10 men for most of the second half fought to earn a 3-3 League One draw at Bristol Rovers.
When Ollie Clarke’s cross-shot was exploited in by Alex Rodman, the home side took a fourth-minute guide. But Stanley were level on 18 minutes, then Jordan Clark bursting using a low drive into the box to internet.
Two minutes after Sam Finley broke into the Rovers penalty area to shoot at house right-footed and it was 2-2 about 41 minutes as Jonson Clarke-Harris fired in from 15 metres after Clarke’s shot ricocheted into his path.
Stanley were reduced to 10 men on 49 minutes when Seamus Conneely was shown a second yellow card for pulling Tom Nichols.
Clarke-Harris’ produced a spectacular overhead kick to put together in front on 63 minutes just to equalise after being fouled by Josh Hare.
Referee Neil Hair took a blow in the face close to the finish and needed to be replaced by linesman Andrew Laver. Kyle Bennett struck the bat throughout fourteen minutes of stoppage time for Rovers.
