Lee Bowyer staying at Charlton amid Huddersfield interest

Lee Bowyer has confirmed he will remain as Charlton director amid interest.
Bowyer directed Charlton to promotion from League One last season and they’re next in the Championship.
Huddersfield sacked Jan Siewert since Mark Hudson was appointed as caretaker boss after he won one match in months in charge, together with the Terriers still without a win this year.
Sky Sports News understands Charlton have received no strategies for their own manager.
“I am really happy with the way you’re moving. I’m going to be staying here,” Bowyer said.
Bowyer signed a new contract extension to remain in charge at The Valley in June, a day after it appeared that he was unhappy with his contract offer from the team.
Charlton preserved their unbeaten start to the match season with a 2-0 victory.
