Italy veterans Sergio Parisse and Leonardo Ghiraldini Happen to Be denied Their Own farewell games
The Parisse, that is the captain of Italy, will be one of 3 players to play in five World Cups. He has said he is retiring after the championship in Japan. Parisse has played second to the all-time list, the most from a hemisphere player and tests behind by the Richie McCaw of New Zealand.
That is one, although he had been put to say goodbye contrary to the world champion All Blacks at Toyota on Saturday. England against France can be off.
Italy hooker Ghiraldini, that recovered from injury to play in the World Cup, was due to be provided a spell by trainer Conor OShea for his farewell against New Zealand. Ghiraldini, who is also 34, has performed for Italy for 13 years.
When news broke the game was cancelled he shed tears on Thursday in the group camp in Toyota.
Italy had a likelihood of slipping into the quarter-finals but might have needed a triumph over the All Blacks.
